“Industry 4.0 – Current Trends and Strategies”

This event will bring together researchers and practitioners in the area of Industry 4.0. We will highlight the various aspects of Industry 4.0 including safety, security, dependability, networking as well as engineering processes – with special focus on the crucial linkage between information technology and manufacturing.
This workshop aims at a full and detailed discussion of the research issues interlinking manufacturing and information technology as integrative processes that cover amongst others availability, safety, confidentiality, integrity, maintainability and security in this field of application.
The workshop emphasizes the interplay between foundations and practical issues of in Industry 4.0 for companies, governments, universities and research institutions. It is devoted to the critical examination and research challenges of the various aspects of Industry 4.0 and the definition of a future road map.

 

Venue
The workshop will be held at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) in Hanoi, Vietnam, in co-operation with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and ASEA-UNINET, Austria.
